For the second year people around the world are coming together to make a noise about the plight of the West Papuan people, with more than twenty Rockin’ For West Papua 2017 events announced in Australia alone in addition to cities around the globe from 6th to 8th October with genres ranging from reggae, RnB, country and heavy metal to hip-hop, DJ’s and Aussie rock (including Radio Birdman legend Chris Masuak headlining a show in Spain!). 

West Papua is Australia’s closest neighbour and in our own backyard more than 500,000 West Papuans have been murdered and they daily face the threat of being punished with 15 years jail simply for flying their own flag.
