Big Village welcomes the raucous 6 piece Sydney Hip Hop crew Beastsideto the familly!! To celebrate we are throwing a single launch party of epic proportions at The Captain Cook Hotel, featuring supports from up and coming crew Ivy Mics + Hinhop Meare. 

After rocking house parties, warehouse gigs and club shows for half a decade, Beastside has signed to Big Village
Records to release their debut LP, Time Framed, due out in July. 

The first single from the LP, “Charged Up” sets the tone for the forthcoming album, the gritty tune showcases each MC’ s distinct style and their command of the 140bpm tempo, in a relentless series of tight verses. 

Beastside is a six piece outfit of rappers and producers: Bill Medley, Frogman, Hinhop, Awash, Filthy Rich and Keazy. Although influenced by UK grime and rap, their hip hop is distinctly Australian, both lyrically and in accent, and their devoted following is testimony to their compelling, authentic sound.

Originally hailing from East Sydney, the tight-knit group completed the writing and demo recording of Time Framed under a single roof in Marrickville.The album came to personify their lifestyle of persistent hustle, perpetual revelry and volatile personal relationships.
